Same way you build it before 50. It takes a little longer, but its all the same.

This is ‘hear say’ but I heard that after a certain age bracket, and it was way before 50, you can’t develop muscle tissue.

I do push ups every day & it keeps my shoulders/upper torso pumped up some & makes me feel better

The best thing to do is to go to your nearest fitness centre/gym and ask for a program. (You may have to pay but you shouldn’t have to join).

It is best someone shows you the correct technique to prevent injuries or any risk of you over doing it.

It is easy to build muscle regardless of age though it does take a little longer (as sort of said above… you do lose muscle mass each year when you hit a certain age, but it doesn’t mean you cannot build up your muscles!) Don’t be intimidated walking into a gym, but if you do go around lunch time as gyms are usually quiet and the people that are there are mostly just like you!

Good on ya for giving it a go!

GOOD LUCK!!
